5 poems max per submission. No re-submissions please. 

 

Rhyme, blank verse, free verse, narrative, sonnet, elegy, limerick, ballad, or villanelle forms. 

 

If the original is in a foreign language, please provide English translation alongside. 

 

Any theme or subject.

Focus on critical examination of art and how it relates to the world. Your essay should explore the wider relevance of the subject in discussion and the style of the piece should reflect that.

Upon submission, the author grants us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, distribute, or publish their work on EMBERR’s website, in EMBERR videos, audio-recordings, podcasts and feature in any EMBERR physical publications & events. The author understands that if their piece is selected for feature, they cannot rescind the submission.
