We are a non-profit online magazine that offers sanctum to writers, poets, essayists, critics and artists.

Conceived in 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, EMBERR was founded to re-assert the existence of truth and beauty within art. The idea was to create a space that would join together exceptional work from literary and creative spheres; a space that would allow artists from all walks of life to showcase their craft, and witness it in other disciplines. By uniting literary creation, expression and critique, we aim to provide an integrated perspective on art and its place in the modern world. 

 

In upholding principles of aestheticism, objectivity and free expression, we believe that ego and pretence have no place here. EMBERR is designed for sincerity and courage; for those that dare to stand their ground and think freely. Holding no party allegiance, our only loyalty is to independent minds; those, however, are required to be biased.
